When you ask to borrow something

If you fill in the borrow request form, I collect your name, email address, the dates you’re after, and anything else you choose to add. Just enough to sort out a loan and get back to you.

Where it goes

The form is submitted through a third-party mail relay (Formsubmit) that drops it straight into my personal email inbox. There’s no database, mailing list, or CRM behind it. Once it lands, it’s treated exactly like any other email someone sends me asking to borrow terrain.

Who sees it

Just me. Nobody else has access to these requests, and they’re never shared, sold, or used for anything beyond arranging your loan.

How long it’s kept

However long anything sits in my personal email, generally. There’s no separate list or export it gets added to, and no set deletion schedule beyond normal email housekeeping.

No marketing, ever

Your details are never added to a newsletter or used to contact you about anything beyond the request you actually made.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can ask what I hold about you, or ask me to have it corrected or deleted. Just get in touch the same way you reached out to borrow something, and I’ll sort it.
